Fireworks at Mallala
Mallala Motorsport Park was packed to the rafters last weekend with over 10,000 fans flocking through the gates to watch the Australian Super Trucks and various support categories race under lights.
It was the second consecutive year that the venue had hosted the trucks on the ANZAC day weekend and built on the success of 2025.
The historic venue in South Australia, Mallala Motorsport Park is well and truly back, holding its biggest attendance in decades, with the venue boasting a crowd of 10,768 people across the two days of on track action.
As well as the trucks, the circuit just north of Adelaide also hosted the road course nationals of the Street Stock Speedway cars, Formula Vee, Circuit Excel South Australia, Miniature Racing Cars and Motor Events Handicap races.
There was also drifting with the A1 Linemarking Drift Battle and Adelaide Burnouts competition.
This was just on track, off it, there was a truck display, Saturday night fireworks display as well as competitions for fans.
Fans were able to park up trackside and camp at the venue, giving the event an amazing vibe all weekend long.
Over the course of the event all the regular circuit racing categories had six races.
In the Australian Super Trucks Dale Cornfoot won two races including the fireworks spectacular on Saturday night, Harvey Dale also won two, while Steven Zammit and Tye Oxley shared a win apiece.
Flynn Forgan won his first races and round in the SA Formula Vee Championship, he won three of the six races, taking a clean sweep of Sunday’s action.
Tyler Barton was the dominant force in the Street Stocks Road Course Nationals; he was a step above the rest of the field. He comfortably won all six affairs, leaving the rest of the field to scrap for the minor positions.
Circuit Excel and the Miniature Race Cars shared the track for their six races. Wins in Miniature Race Cars were split three apiece between Darcy Heyne and Ivan Vantigiato.
In the Excels Shane Nowickyj scored three wins, Fletcher Lewis two and Super2 driver Brad Vaughan one.
