Perth’s premier tarmac rally, Lance East Exotics Tarmac West is off to a flying start with the twilight stages of Day 1 of the four-day rally drawing about 8,000 spectators who lined the streets of Ellenbrook as competitors race the clock.

The Snowy River Sprint has delivered a spectacular weekend of tarmac rallying, with some of the most insanely beautiful weather imaginable. From Lakes Entrance through to Buchan, competitors were treated to brilliant sunshine, stunning scenery and roads that showcased exactly why this corner of Victoria is such a special place to rally.

From today, 70 rally cars race the clock on closed roads in and around Perth for Western Australia's premier tarmac rally, Lance East Exotics Tarmac West from 17 to 20 September.

Under threatening skies, 53 entrants were keen and eager to tackle the Mt Brown Hill climb. The Triumph Sports Owners Association of WA hosted this event again after reinstating the event last year following a very long hiatus.
