Top End Drifters Battle Under Lights at Hidden Valley
The Top End Drift Association (TEDA) returned to Hidden Valley Raceway on Saturday, 29 August for Round 3 of its 2026 competition season, with an evening program combining competitive drifting and freestyle runs.
The event began with practice before competition got underway from 6:30pm, with drivers battling under lights through to 10pm. The format also allowed drivers who weren't competing to take part in practice sessions, helping provide opportunities for different levels of experience within the club.
At the end of the night's competition, Sam O'Leary claimed the Round 3 victory, ahead of Jack Botting in second and Paul Seidel in third. James Parkyn completed the top four.

TEDA is a not-for-profit motorsport club based in Darwin, providing both competitive drifting and opportunities for drivers to learn and develop their skills in a controlled environment. The club caters for everything from street-based cars through to dedicated high-performance drift machinery and promotes accessible pathways into the sport.
The 2026 TEDA competition season continues with Round 4 at Hidden Valley on 17 October, followed by a Learn to Drift event in November and the club's end of year presentation in December.
