Track Day sessions and Cars and Coffee will be included in the festivities at the second round of the Hi-Tec Oils Short Track Nationals Powered by WOLF SPORTS, which takes place at One Raceway from June 20-21.
The Track Day sessions and Cars and Coffee have been integrated into the schedule cleverly by the AASA Events Team, allowing people who don’t necessarily have a racing car to cut laps of One Raceway during a race weekend.
A traditional track day would see people given four or five 15-minute sessions throughout the course of a day. At One Raceway however, on both Saturday and Sunday drivers are given a one-hour session to cut as many laps as they please.
This costs just $180 per session, plus a AASA Day Licence. The AASA is offering a 50% Day Licence discount (email adam@aasa.com.au to claim). This is great value compared with a traditional track day.
It must be noted that this event is open to both road and track cars. Additionally, you are able to drive with a passenger alongside, the passenger is no additional cost.
Aside from a AASA licence, track day participants must have a valid driver’s licence and bring their own helmet. Participants must attend a drivers briefing prior to going on track.
Spots are limited, so make sure you reserve a position now by clicking on the link here.
The Cars and Coffee event is free to attend and is a traditional meeting of car enthusiasts, you can look around at other car fanatic’s beautiful machines, while also enjoying the action on the racetrack.
