Hi-Tec Oils Super Series finale moves to avoid date clash

The final round of the 2026 Hi-Tec Oils Super Series – Season 4 at Calder Park has moved back a week to avoid a date clash with the Supercars Championship.

The Hi-Tec Oils Super Series finale on Calder Park Raceway’s original layout, will now take place from November 13-15.

This alteration has been made to avoid a date conflict with the revised Supercars Championship date at Sandown Raceway over the other side of Melbourne.

The Calder round was originally slated to be a week after Sandown, however the 500 was forced to move forward seven days.

The decision made by the Australian Auto-Sport Alliance (AASA) to change the Super Series date allows competitors and fans to attend both events.

Calder Park Raceway is an event you will not want to miss, a brand-new TA2 format will be rolled out, all the details of which will be revealed in coming weeks.

It boats a bumper category list with the TA2 Muscle Car Series joined by the AASA Australian Formula Ford, Innovation Race Cars, APC Endurance Championship, Legend Cars Australia, Formula RX8 and Stock Cars Australia.

Marcos Ambrose – AASA Competition and Commercial Director

“Our primary objective when setting our AASA National calendars for 2026 was to avoid date clashes with other major national motorsport series,” he said. “Many of our AASA competitors, teams and cars and equipment compete on these other platforms.

“Supercars moving their Sandown date created a clash. With the support of Calder Park Raceway and with thanks to Rowan Harman and his crew we have been able to shift our event to the following weekend.

“It actually works out perfectly for us, we feel the November 13 – 15 date will be well supported by our teams and competitors.”
