Entries open for Round 1 of Super Series and AASA Nationals

Entries are officially open, for round one of the Hi-Tec Oils Super Series Season 4 – 2026 and also the inaugural round of the AASA Nationals Series - 2026.

Round 1 of the Hi-Tec Oils Super Series Season 4 takes place at the Shell V-Power Motorsport Park in South Australia from March 13-15.

With no less than seven national categories competing including TA2 Muscle Car Series, Innovation Race Cars, the AASA Australian Formula Ford Championship, Legend Cars Australia, Australian Drivers’ Championship, Formula RX8 and AASA TT.

The on-track action will be non-stop and will set up the Hi-Tec Oils Super Series Season 4 – 2026 as the biggest to date, with record competitors and team participation.

The Super Series is headlined by the V8 powered TA2 Muscle Car Series which continues to go from strength-to-strength.

After the success of the 2025 AASA Formula Ford Series, this year the AASA sanctioned series has become the official AASA Australian Formula Ford Championship.

Aussie built GT machines, Innovation Race Cars (IRC) return to the Super Series with more cars and all-new models which will debut at the opening round.

The pocket-rocket Legends Cars have become a staple of the Super Series, proving to be a crowd favourite due to their nail-biting side-by-side racing.

Formula RX8 returns to the Super Series platform in 2026, the one-make Mazda RX8 Series will be one to watch throughout the season.

Hyper Racer X1 is the basis of the Australian Drivers’ Championship. One of the fastest championships in the country, these aerodynamic, lightweight open-wheel cars always turn heads.

One of the stalwart categories of the AASA, the Tin Tops will also be on show at the opening round of the Hi-Tec Oils Super Series.

The inaugural AASA Nationals Series starts on the ANZAC Day long weekend.

The first event, April 25-26 will be held under lights on the Druitt layout at Sydney Motorsport Park.

The feature category of the weekend will be Legend Cars Australia, running a unique ‘Sprintcar’ style format with competitors racing over several ‘round robin heats’, a top 8 Dash, B-Main and winner takes all A-Main.

The A-Main winner becomes the AASA Australian Legends Short Track Nationals winner and earns the right to carry the Aussie #1 on the door for a year.

The event will also play host to the second round of the Australian Formula Ford Championship, Formula RX8s and AASA TT.

Legends, AASA TT and Formula Ford will also be scoring points for the separate AASA Nationals short-track championship of which this is Round 1.

Additionally, Stock Cars Australia, home to iconic NASCARs and AUSCARs from yesteryear are on the ticket for Round 1 of their Championship.

AASA Nationals Series 2026 will be live streamed all season.
